In just two years, the members of Firetop Mountain have gone from jam sessions in a moldy, coffee-stained basement to the top of concert bills in some of Oslo’s hippest locales. Now, with the imminent release of their debut album, Indians Aren't Afraid of Heights, the group has established itself as a legitimate rock and roll act.

    Phew! We made it. All four song now got great sounding guitars and drums. The rest we will record at home. Thanks for following our blog posts over the past two days. More will follow as we wrap up the work with this EP.

  3. A Fender amp cranked up to 11

    I´m glad Kim´s amp is safely located inside a soundproof room ´cause it´s playing awfully loud. We´re putting the finishing touches on the guitars on the first song of today. We have till half past 5 today to track all the guitars. Starting to think have to hurry up a bit. *gulp*
