Now this is exciting! Taken from the Eardrums Music blog:
It’s the 15th, another month, and another Music Alliance Pact-presentation. The Music Alliance Pact (MAP) is a collaboration between 25 blogs from 25 countries (Spain is not participating this month, so we’re 24 this month), and every month on the 15th all the blogs post the same post, – this one -, with 25 songs and band-presentations from the countries in the Music Alliance Pact. Eardrums represents Norway, and this time we will tell you about a new band called Firetop Mountain. The countries and the songs are listed alphabetically below. Enjoy another month of Music Alliance Pact!
We’re on 24 blogs in 24 different countries! Can’t Thank Knut at Eardrums Music enough:)

Thanks to all the earthlings

Feels like we haven’t got around to thank all enough for coming to our gig at Palace Grill this monday. We had a great time and we will forever remember this night.
The record is now out on Platekompaniet in Norway but in a day or two you can also buy it from retailers like CDON, iTunes and even listen to it on Spotify. We’ll be sure to tell you when it happens.
Tomorrow we’re going to Hamar to play at Seb’s Hotel for our “home-crowd”. Yeah, we’re all from the Hamar-area. A sleepy but very nice town full of rock hungry earthlings. Hope to see you there!

Head over to MySpace and listen to our debut album before it hits the stores on monday. Add us while you’re at it, and don’t be shy, give us some feedback. The two CD bonus tracks Underdog and Astronaut is not included on the preview. Guess you’ll have to wait a few days for those:)

Welcome to our new webpage
Posted by Michael | Filed under Announcements
We had a lot of success with our former blog. People kept telling us they enjoyed reading about our endeavours. But we knew we had to retire that old piece of junk-website for something more versatile and interactive.
So we welcome to you the brand new firetop-mountain.com! It’s still a blog, but with a lot more panache. We’ll try our best to keep you updated on the strange, bizzarre and sometimes silly world of Firetop Mountain.
The album’s out the 8th of June. It’s been a long journey to get this far. Still a lot of work that needs to be done ’till then but still, we know for certain that we will release it now. Today they started printing the cover and I guess we’ll have it here pretty soon. For you living outside of Scandinavia and the EU you will be able to get the record from iTunes, and in a little while, CDBaby. Even though the CD format is half-presumed dead we still think it’s a wee bit better than mp3’s. Especially with coverart this good:) You get two additional tracks too. “Astronaut” and “Underdog”.
If you want to be more than just a spectator to our micro-universe we’ve opened a backstage area / social network for you to indulge yourselves. It’s called ClubFTM and you’ll find it on the top menu. Join and kiss or kick our asses - both are appreciated. Here we’re gonna demo new songs to you, ask you all kinds of funny questions, throw fun contests and I’m certain much more. We want to be as close to our fans as the web allows (don’t get any funny ideas) and this seemed a perfect way to do so.
Also check out our brand new merch! The flaming birdie (that’s a phoenix for those interested in mythology and such) was drawn by the very talented Julian Mills. The T-shirts and tops are cheap enough so Norwegians don’t have to pay for toll when they order one. If you buy one we’d love to see a photo on ClubFTM of you wearing it.
See you soon
